Our History
In 1976, J. Bruce Rasco opened Rasco and Rasco P.C. in Burleson; when the town’s population was under 10,000 and subsequently went on to build a very reputable accounting, tax and financial services firm.
Bruce grew up in the Burleson/Fort Worth area and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He graduated from Texas Wesleyan College in 1973 with a BBA in accounting and was a member of Phi Beta Lambda; he has also been a member of The Texas Society of CPAs since 1978 and the American Institute of CPAs since 1979.
His son, Jeff S. Rasco, grew up watching his father care for his customers and learned from an early age how to properly look after their clients. Jeff joined his father in the practice in 1995.
Bruce’s dedication to the community is exemplified by his service as a Burleson City Councilman. His guidance in how to treat customers with the golden rule led our practice to where it is today serving both Johnson, Tarrant counties and beyond.
Bruce has been an excellent father, grandfather and leader in the business, family and community with 41 years of service and excellence in the accounting profession. This legacy and commitment to the financial needs of the community is carried on today through his son Jeff.
